Two curses, one bloodline. Nyiblorong was the first mantra. Medusa is the evolved curse, inspired by Jekyll & Eleventy.
The first incarnation. Simple and quiet, like early Jekyll. Markdown + YAML frontmatter, Jinja2 with extends, Bootstrap 5. It just builds. python ssg.py and done.
The new ritual. Like Eleventy and Jekyll, but in Python. Supports PAX layout, Jinja2 full fix for [:3] and | limit(3), Axcora CSS injection the ligthweight CSS Framework.
The full production system. Minimalist Bento Grid design, Decap CMS pre-configured, pricing, FAQ, portfolio, testimonial — all wired to YAML, ready to rebrand.
Not a framework war. Just a simple way to ship fast, safe, and quiet static sites. Gothic in look, minimal in soul.
Once built, it stays stone. No crash on traffic spike, no SQL injection, no server to wake. Medusa stared, and the page became eternal.

What Nyiblorong started, Medusa perfected. Clean, minimal, inspired by Jekyll & 11ty.
No Ruby for Jekyll, no JS for Eleventy. Just python ssg.py. Parses Markdown, loads YAML frontmatter, renders Jinja2.
Layout inheritance, macros, filters. Medusa fix supports both Python slice [:3] and Liquid style | limit(3) so your old templates don't break.
Lightweight gothic CSS. No utility bloat. Just gothic-section, gothic-container, venom accents. Dark by default.
Output is pure HTML. No hydration. Loads instantly, scores 100/100 Lighthouse even on slow phone.
Medusa does not just freeze pages, she marks them for seekers. ssg.py auto-forges sitemap.xml, robots.txt, RSS, Atom, and JSON feed from your collections. Open Graph and Twitter Card ready via base layout, no plugin needed.
output/ folder is ready for Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, Vercel, Netlify, or plain Apache/NGINX.

Pycora by Axcora is a Python static site generator. Like Jekyll and Eleventy, but in Python. You write Markdown with YAML frontmatter, it compiles to static HTML via Jinja2 and PAX templates.
