EXTRA INFORMATION

This collection is basically my sketchbook. Some of these end up as full songs for other projects, but it's fun to share these songs with everyone!

Over 200 songs are included in this pack, the player above has a limited selection of songs to keep the download size low, it includes the most recent songs and some of my older favorites.

If you use any of these songs, please let me know! I'd love to see the game you made. Also, I maintain an itch collection featuring all the games where the music is used 🥰

It's not required, but if you'd like to credit me, please use the artist name "Abstraction" and link to either this page (https://tallbeard.itch.io/music-loop-bundle) or the Abstraction homepage (https://abstractionmusic.com/). Thank you!

While these songs are free to download, if you do plan on earning revenue off your game (either through ads, microtransactions, or direct sales), please consider contributing a few dollars to the project or subscribing to my Patreon to help support making even more music in the future!

Huge thanks to torcado and the amazing Scritch player for song playback so I can stop relying on Soundcloud's jank.

Heyo! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔノ♡ I love your collection here, I used a few tracks in the background of my first stream and am excited to continue using it! Is that alright with you? 🙏

I've made sure to credit you on my Twitch since I appreciate your contributions to the community

Hello! I've finally posted my game on Steam! Used some of your amazing songs for the main menu and racing parts!

Properly credited with link to the pack, your website and the license!

Ludus Saltuum Demo on Steam

Still a heavy work in progress!
Thanks! Have a great day!

(+1)

Hey mate!

I'd like to borrow your music for use in developing a game. Once I'm finished, I'll come back and share the game link.

Thanks!

Looking forward to it, good luck!

I'm using your music in the game I'm currently developing, and it fits the game really well. Thanks for making and sharing it!

Here's a short gameplay clip if you'd like to see it in action: https://youtu.be/3RhhNUGrBDs

The song's name fits too :D

What a neat idea.. Kinda feels like a mix between an RTS and an auto battler.

Hi mate, i am using one of yours songs for a jam. You are credited and everything, thanks for the bundel!!.

https://miltonhallof.itch.io/cave-capture

This is great for a jam! Lots of places to explore :) Got to the ice slime and then had to get other things done.

(+1)

Thank you for the bundle (and for making it CC0)!
Four of the loops are the music of the new match mode in CurlFlux, a free browser-based curling strategy board.

https://curlflux.creco.net/?mode=match&lang=en

(+1)

Oh neat! My brother in law was big into curling for a while. I'm glad that you are getting some good use out of the music :D

(+1)

Hi! Thanks a lot for sharing such a cool collection! I used your music in my game and will definitely use it for future projects! https://store.steampowered.com/app/5062690/ReDraw/

(+1)

What a cool concept! Redrawing the world one thing at a time :) I hope that you get a lot of attention from it!

(+1)

Still working on it, but I'll be adding some music from this pack to Moji Snake:
https://mojisnake.com/
Anyone can sign up for the beta if you're interested!

I'll have to check it out! Glad you enjoy the music enough to use it :)

The game has been updated to include the music. There's also a trailer on the site and you're in the credits. Thanks again!

Oh nice! Thanks for sharing :) I'm glad the music is working out for you

I used your music again in another gamejam game about plants trying to outgrow each other. it’s basically backpack battles but with cute plants.

You have such good music

play for free mobile and browser BloomOff

What an absolutely cool concept! I understood it from the first gameplay sample and I was like "how come I've never thought of that?!" I don't think there were many other players in the system yet, but I had a pretty crazy setup at the end. I can't really say I knew what all of it did, but I usually won before Spring was out ha

That’s awesome. Thanks for playing. Yeah I’m trying to get more players

(+1)

Found a bug, possibly? Completely filling up the garden with usable tiles freezes the game. The music keeps playing, but all the animations stop and I need to refresh the browser in order to get the game to load again. At least it saves my progress! :D

thank you for that. I don’t think I ever actually completely filled the grid. i’ve come close, but yeah that’s a really bad bug. this is amazing feedback

ha yeah I've been there. make a whole game and then someone in playtesting finds a very obvious bug because that's just not how I play those types of games XD Hope it's an easy fix and glad I could help!

(+1)

Week 6 Never Miss hits hard, I could listen to it all day

Heck yeah! I dig that song too. Eventually, I want to expand and put together my favorite weekly songs from this year into an album :D

Hi!
Thanks for sharing this amazing collection! It's so good that it was really hard to pick just one track.

For my first game, Rojita Run, I used "Week 1.5 - Super Retro Lounge". It’s super fun and catchy, I loved it! And of course, I gave you full credit both inside the game and on the page.

If you'd like to check it out: https://yaelnmr.itch.io/rojita-run

I'll definitely be using more of your music for my future projects!

(+1)

Heya! I'm so glad that you are enjoying the songs :D I've never been good at these types of games; my high score was like 8 haha. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the cool thing you make next!

(+1)

Awww thank you so much for giving it a try! 8 is a totally respectable score for surviving those blenders, trust me! :D

Thanks again for your incredible work and for helping indie developers bring their projects to life! I’ll definitely let you know when the next project is ready.

Hi!
I used two of your tracks in my game, MatchBloom! It just got released on itch.io, and I think the music fits the game really nicely. Thanks for making these tracks available! here is the link so you can check it out. https://radegsdev.itch.io/matchbloom

Thank you for sharing this looks lovely. I really like the pixel art style you've got going on :)

(1 edit) (+1)

actual gold mine, those tracks are fire fr fr, used couple of them on my newest game +, keep it up man lovely work

(+1)

What a great game name haha I'll have to give it a go. Always a fan of incremental games :) Glad the music was helpful!

(+1)

Thank you so much man, I was seriously struggling to find music that could fit my game, and this asset pack is PERFECT

You're welcome! I'm so glad that the music was helpful :D

Thanks! Your music pack is a treasure trove. I used two of your tracks in Brackeys Game Jam 2026.2, and it was absolutely awesome!https://reki233.itch.io/deal-me-a-lie

Heck yeah! I'm glad to hear it. I was bummed I couldn't participate in the Brackeys Jam this year, it's been a busy few months. Your game is cool! Took a minute to understand the flow but I could see how it could get very tense with a table full of humans :D

Used some of your Q1 2024 tracks for a jam game, LAPSE! Great for a moody, tense platformer.

https://zachnar.itch.io/lapse-jam-release

Thanks a ton for putting this up ^^

What a neat concept! I really like the art style you've got here :)

(+1)

very nice!

thanks! Hope you get some good use out of 'em :D

I used it in my gamejam game about chimney fishing

you can play in your browser mobile or pc https://w.run/barret/chimney-fisher

(+1)

woah that looks intense! I'll have to give it a try :D Glad the music worked for you

Thank you!!

(+1)

You're welcome! :D

These will be nice for some of my games, in particular the one I just started making

That's awesome! I'd love to check 'em out once you get them published on here. Best of luck!

Wonderful music! I used it for my barista simulator game c:

Hey cool! Glad you like the music and while I was awful at the game it seems like a really interesting way to teach :D

Hey, me and my team used your lovely tunes in our game Wilting Echoes.

(+1)

Love the visuals you have here! This looks fantastic :)

I used Sketchbook 2025-11-26 in my game for GMTK2026 The Game Jam Experience.

(+1)

Accurately replicates the game jam experience :) This was fun

I used Sketchbook 2024-02-14_L03 in my GMTK Game Jam entry!

Thank you so much for all the great songs!!

https://pulleybun.itch.io/pattern-counter-jam

(+1)

Love this! Some very good puzzles! Took me a minute to figure out that ADDING to the pattern breaks it too, but there are some really tough ones to untangle :)

I used songs from this pack in my GMTK 2026 jam game. Haunted Maze

My final score was 31! Not sure if that's good or not :) I did like that the portal was the source of the music so you had a general idea of where to go in the maze!

Thanks for making such an awesome resource. I really enjoyed using your music to make games this summer. Your music really does help improve my games a lot. Here is my game if you want to add it to your collection.

(+1)

I do want to add it to my collection! This is cool, and really hard! It's one of those things that looks super easy but man I can barely make it around the first track haha

Thank you so much I used Sketchbook 2025-12-11 in my GMTK 26 submission

https://hyperstridestudios.itch.io/debt

This is an awesome idea. I made something similar AGES ago (https://tallbeard.itch.io/extreme-mining), but you condensed it down so much better. I do feel like I kind of went infinite with it, but I think if you added more enemies and different ways to lose time you'd have a great balance!

Thanks.I used your track "Week 22 - The Walking Dunes EVENING OASIS" in my game https://reki233.itch.io/bankruptcy-countdown for this year's GMTK Game Jam!

This is great! I like an incremental game with a (in this case literal) deadline. I dig it :D

Hello!

We used a handful of songs from this bundle in our game, Aster Pebble and the Case of Bad Bureaucracy .

Thanks so much! These are awesome and really helped make the game come alive.

If you're interested in a Steam key or Itch.io download key let us know and we can send you an email!

(1 edit) (+1)

Ha that looks great! Though I can't think of a case of "good bureaucracy" :P I'd love to give it a try! You can email me at <redacted>

Hah, you're not wrong!

And sounds great, we've sent you an email with the keys, hope you enjoy :)

Hey, I have used this game for my 2D platformer game I can send you the files if you want

https://mymomcanfly.itch.io/looping-forest

btw your musics are awesome!!

Heya! This looks great! Always a fan of tough 2D platformers :) Glad you like the music too!

(+1)

Really cool selection tool!
Just wanted to stop by and let you know that I used some of your music in my recent submission to Kenney Jam 2026! I definitely plan to use more of your stuff in the future. It's just too good

Feel free to check it out here!

That's a great game! Had a lot of fun with it :) Glad that the music was a help and that the selection tool assisted finding the song you were looking for!

(+1)

The selection tool is very useful and the musics is so good. Thank you

Heya! Glad that someone got some use out of it :) Thanks!

Great music it is the second time I use it for a game and this time we won the game jam with trash tower we may publish it in play store in the future and if we make money we will make sure to donate and obviously give credit. Thank you for making this music and letting people use it.

Heya! I'm glad that the music worked out for you :) It's a cool concept on tower defense where you have one tower with different types of attacks. All the best getting it out there!

Thank you so much for your music

I tried so hard to make one for my game, it's not reach the quality that I needed

I'm using your tracks for my game SILENT PROTOCOL and it will be released on steam later

I will give credit everytime your tracks is included, if my game find quite a revenue I will definitely support you even more than credit. thank you again

(+2)

Heya! You're welcome! I feel you about "not reaching the quality I needed", that's how I feel when I try to make art for my games haha

Hello!

I wanted to thank you for the incredible Music Loop Bundle.

I’m using several of your tracks throughout my game Psych Session, and honestly your music became part of the game’s identity.

Again. Thank you for share music that helps small developers tell bigger stories. :) :)

(+1)

Heya! I'm so glad that the music helped you out. Always great to hear :)

thanks for sharing an amazing collection of music! i used a track here in a previous jam a year ago and the collection left an impression on me so when i participated in another jam your music was the first thing that came to mind! we used one of the tracks from Sketchbook 2025 Q4 for our game jam submission: https://phiryon.itch.io/ball-x-chain-a-platformer

thanks again!

(+2)

What a cool idea! I wasn't very good at it, but the controls were great and a really good song choice :D

Hi there! I used one of your tracks in my game jam submission. It has such a cozy vibe and fits the game perfectly—thank you for your amazing work!

You can check it out here~ I also added some custom post-processing to your music for a few sound effects, and it really brought the game to life. Thanks again for the great music!

This is a cool idea! I love the straightforward ui design you made :)

(1 edit)

Hey! Just wanted to tell you I've used some of your songs for my submission to a game jam, if you'd like to check it out, click here! (You're of course properly credited in the actual game page, hope that's acceptable!)

This was a real life saver for me hahaha, thanks for sharing your cool work with everyone.

I'm glad the music helped out! Any credit is appreciated but not necessary so you're all good :)

(1 edit)

I'm using 5 of those loops in my game jam game, it is crazy how good those loops are, thank you so much for making them and making them available to us. ♥

If you are interested in checking it out: https://helwy.itch.io/world-spinning-championship

Having grown up with the Commodore 64 and the like, I felt right at home with the art style. The passages you retype are grim, but honestly it is a very compelling way of education on these horrors considering that you need to *very* consciously read the passages in order to retype them.

Thank you for your feedback ♥ Happy you enjoyed the art style, I always feel like more games need to be made in that style because it is beautiful.. and I admit the content is very grim, but these are topics that I have a feeling that more and more people don't know about now, and they should get an idea about it, and hopefully the game convinces them to read more about it.

(+1)

Absolutely! Hopefully more people get a chance to play it :)

(+1)

Thanks a lot for these songs! They really helped bring my game to life. I’ll definitely be using more of your music in future projects. Here’s the game if you'd like to check it out: https://siguy1255.itch.io/highway-havoc

(+1)

I ended up with a score of 39 :)  I'm glad the songs helped out. Looking forward to seeing what else you make in the future!

I just finished my submission for the Juniper Dev Game Jam. The vibe of this game is completely different, but I was still able to use one of your songs, and it fit perfectly. Thanks again for these awesome tracks! Here's the game if you'd like to check it out: https://siguy1255.itch.io/silencing-circle

(+1)

Ah cool! Who would have thought that ghosts were so meaty when you blew them up haha. I ended up with a score of 69 by holding down A and just putting my mouse near any ghost that was getting close. Eventually that tactic didn't work any more, but it was fun :D
