THE PROBLEM
America's public systems are brittle by design, and federal contraction in 2025 exposed how much of that brittleness residents absorb alone. TIP makes sense of the impact of change on the public systems communities need most.
OUR WORK
We have spent the last 18 months building the most comprehensive dataset on government change in the country. The next phase moves from diagnosis to construction: giving communities the tools, training, and capital pathways to build locally sovereign systems rather than wait for federal ones to be restored.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reimagine how government, civil society, and private industry work together to solve nationwide challenges, and we are building for it now. At the intersection of public health and environment, TIP helps communities see clearly, act fast, and build anew.
