Negative values, 0x/0b/0o prefixes and separators such as 1,000 or 1_000 are accepted; a prefix is ignored when it matches the selected base. Results use canonical digits and are calculated locally with BigInt; Base64 here means numeric base 64, not text encoding.

Number Base Converter is a free online tool for converting non-negative integers between binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal, Base32, Base36, Base52, Base58, Base62, and numeric Base64. The conversion runs in your browser with BigInt arithmetic, so large whole numbers stay exact and your input is not uploaded.
Convert binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal
Choose the input base and enter a whole number. The page returns the equivalent value in every supported base at the same time, including the formats most often used in programming: binary (base 2), octal (base 8), decimal (base 10), and hexadecimal (base 16). This all-results view is useful for checking a conversion or comparing representations without opening several separate calculators.
Support for compact developer bases
In addition to the common bases, the converter includes Base32, Base36, Base52, Base58, Base62, and numeric Base64 alphabets. These are useful for compact identifiers, URL-safe IDs, protocol experiments, and number-system exercises. Because alphabets differ between applications, confirm the character order expected by your target system before using a generated value in production.
Large integers without JavaScript rounding
The converter uses the browser BigInt type instead of floating-point Number arithmetic. Ordinary JavaScript numbers are only exact through 2^53 - 1; BigInt keeps integer calculations exact beyond that boundary. The tool still limits the input field to a practical 512 characters so a pasted value cannot make the browser tab unresponsive.
Numeric Base64 is different from text Base64
Base64 in this number converter means a positional numeral system with a 64-character alphabet. It does not encode UTF-8 text or arbitrary bytes in the RFC 4648 Base64 format. Use the separate Base64 Encoder Decoder when your input is text, a file, a Data URI, or a JWT payload.
Validation and local privacy
Only non-negative whole numbers are accepted. Do not add a decimal point, minus sign, separators, or a 0x/0b prefix; choose the matching base and enter its digits directly. Invalid characters are rejected instead of being silently treated as another value. The calculation is local to the current browser tab and does not require an account, upload, or credits.
How to use Number Base Converter
Choose the base of the number you are entering, such as Base 10 Decimal or Base 16 Hexadecimal.
Enter a non-negative whole number without a prefix such as 0x or 0b.
Start the conversion, review every supported base, then copy the result from the page.
Questions
Which number bases does this converter support?
It supports Base 2, 8, 10, 16, 26, 32, 36, 52, 58, 62, and 64. Base 2, 8, 10, and 16 are binary, octal, decimal, and hexadecimal; the other options use the character alphabets described in the page.
Can I convert hexadecimal to decimal or binary?
Yes. Choose Base 16 as the input base, enter the hexadecimal digits without a 0x prefix, and start. The result includes the equivalent decimal and binary values along with every other supported base.
Can it convert numbers larger than 2^53 - 1?
Yes. The local implementation uses JavaScript BigInt arithmetic and keeps whole-number conversions exact within the practical input limit. This avoids the rounding that can occur when large integers are stored as ordinary JavaScript Number values.
Is this the same as a Base64 encoder?
No. Base 64 here is a numeric base for integers. Use the separate Base64 encoder when you need standard text or byte encoding with padding and URL-safe variants.
Does the tool support negative numbers, decimals, or fractions?
No. It accepts non-negative whole numbers only. Negative values, decimal points, fractions, separators, and base prefixes are rejected so the result is unambiguous.
Is my number uploaded to the server?
No. The conversion runs in the current browser tab with no upload, account, or credit requirement.
