We recently ran into an interesting question while looking at protection inside an extensible system.

A protected operation can work exactly as intended, while the same consequential state can still be changed through another supported path.

That raises a broader question:

How does a system remain stable when it cannot assume every path to its state?

We explored this through WordPress, AI-integrated software, and what our own protection logs revealed about changes occurring outside the protected boundary.

Real people

Some of the folks here

A snapshot of the community. Each profile links to their work, plugins, and contributions.

Free forever. No ads, no paid tiers.

Find your people in WordPress.

Profiles, a feed, events, jobs, and snippets. Built for the developers who ship with WordPress every day. Always free.

A note from the folk who built this

I built WPFolks because we deserved better.

We power 40% of the web and we had no central home. We were scattered across Slacks, forums, and platforms built for someone else. So I built one for us.

Free forever. No paid tiers. No algorithm. No noise. Just real folks doing real work, finding each other.

If you build something good, post it. If something breaks, tell me on the feed. That is the whole project.
