HyperExecute has deep support for Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Puppeteer, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Maestro and Detox, plus JMeter and Gatling for performance testing. Because the YAML runs any executable test command, any other framework works too, and the orchestration features and real-time logs are native to the platform regardless of framework.

HyperExecute takes your test scripts and places them in virtual machines having all the other components required to run your tests and collect logs and metrics. These virtual machines are hosted by HyperExecute in its secured cloud environment. HyperExecute is also available on dedicated and private clouds where virtual machines can run in your personal cloud accounts.

No code or logic changes have to be done in order to run your end to end tests on HyperExecute. HyperExecute requires a YAML configuration file to specify which tests to run and to configure other settings. Yes. Performance testing is a first-class HyperExecute workload. Upload the JMeter (.jmx) or Gatling Java DSL plan your team already maintains, and HyperExecute provisions the load generators, drives the run, tears the infrastructure down and reports the result. HyperExecute runs on just-in-time virtual machines across 40+ cloud availability regions. The execution region is selected automatically based on where you trigger the HyperExecute CLI, keeping tests close to your infrastructure.

Virtual machine configurations vary by operating system, with Linux provisioned at a lower core count than Windows and macOS. The current per-OS specifications are published in the HyperExecute documentation, and enterprise accounts can request a customized execution environment.

HyperExecute is driven by one CLI binary, so every pipeline follows the same three steps: download the binary in your job, expose LT_USERNAME and LT_ACCESS_KEY from your CI secret store, and run it against your hyperexecute.yaml. There is no per-platform plugin to install.

HyperExecute is built with security at its core and provides industry standard security on the entire infrastructure. HyperExecute provides fresh virtual machines every time a new job is triggered and deletes the infrastructure after the test execution of the job is completed. Dozens of microservices ensure that test scripts are deleted after the retention period and uniquely encrypted during their retention period. HyperExecute stores client side secrets in a dedicated vault. Enterprise version enables users to add their own security policies over HyperExecute infrastructure.

There is no architectural ceiling. A job that needs 10 virtual machines and a job that needs 10,000 are the same operation to the platform. In practice your parallelism is set by the number of licenses on your plan, and paid plans carry unlimited test minutes.

Each parallel test execution consumes a single HyperExecute license. For example, if you want to run 50 tests in parallel, you need 50 HyperExecute licenses. If you have 10 HyperExecute licenses and trigger 50 tests, only 10 will run in parallel and the remaining 40 will be queued by the platform.
