I‘ve been using Muse Glimmer 30B for a few hours as a simple chatbot. Very happy with it so far! I‘ll use it instead of Claude Sonnet 5 and see how it goes. A great advantage that I have built my own chatbot and can switch model any time. Built with @fasthtml , a great framework!

Honoured to share the name of Anthropic‘s model. But now ‚claude‘ is everywhere: config folders, instruction files, … I just hope my home folder ‚home/claude‘ does not confuse the AI. It‘s anyway too large to fit the context window! 😅

Great news: Switzerland‘s best universities have developed a fully open LLM, Apertus! Excited to see the adoption by Swiss administration and Swiss corporates. I predict this will be huge 😀 Link from press release from ETHZ in comments.
