Built a new thing to make installing & updating .NET on Windows easier after realizing I had *four* SDK installs to update on patch Tuesday:
dotnet-steward.damianedwards.dev
Install-PSResource DotNetSteward -Scope CurrentUser -TrustRepository
non-Windows just use aka.ms/dotnetup
This is *THE* time for tech generalists. Knowing that a thing exists & generally what it's for & not for & then adding a coding agent enables you to build practically anything while still knowing enough to apply guidance & "taste". As @shanselman says, "T"-shaped specialization.
Feels like the next step is a local model specialized in real-time GUI recognition so the agent can simply ask a tool "select the thing & click the next button when it arrives" & have it return when done or an error occurs. Need to tighten this loop.
