I am worried about a situation in which rumors are constantly swirling about major results and your distance to the labs in the social graph distance determines how much you know.

compute and revenues have scaled massively, and models keep improving
idk what we'll call them 3 years from now, but another 3 years of this trajectory will look more and more
openai is going to do a whole line of GPT-6 models of different sizes (Sol/Terra/Luna) distilled from Astra
but released Astra first to keep the hype focused on one model
with how well Astra is selling and the compute constraints, i can totally see them not holding gpt-6 sol
