Describe the bug
Latest windows installer from release 26.9.3 bundles matplotlib 3.11.1 and wxpython 4.3.x which exercises the tiny window bug, i.e. all matplotlib plots open tiny windows that need manual expanding.
Bug may be limited to Windows os but not 100% sure.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Alternative 1: install from 26.9.3 .
exe installer, open PYMEVis app, go to Shell tab and type plt.figure()
- See tiny plot window
- Alternative 2: install from recent pip or conda and "happen" to get matplotlib 3.11.1 and wxpython 4.3.x
- Same issue
Expected behavior
Normal size window opens.
Bugfix
Make new release which bundles/pins matplotlib>=3.11.2, as it fixes the tiny window bug.
