The 2026 Michigan Attorney General election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the attorney general of Michigan. Democratic incumbent Dana Nessel is term-limited and ineligible to seek a third term. The major-party nominees were nominated at conventions in August 2026. Democratic Washtenaw County prosecuting attorney Eli Savit and Republican Eaton County prosecuting attorney Doug Lloyd are the nominees for their respective parties.
