The Planet Crafter Interactive Maps & Locations

Larvae zones now tell you which butterfly larvae you can find there.

• Larvae zone species - click a larvae zone to see the extra larvae that spawn there and their spawn chance, for example the Lucia butterfly larva on Skeo. Open the map
• Wild spawns in the database - larva entries show where they spawn in the wild and when, with their larvae zones on a map.

Caves, wrecks and other interiors under the surface now have their own Underground map on every planet that has them.

• Underground map for Prime, Humble, Selenea, Toxicity and Skeo - pick Underground in the layer menu next to the planet name to see the caves, wreck interiors and tunnels from below the rock, with only the crates, deposits and logs inside them. Open the map
• Markers inside a cave or wreck show a small layers badge on the normal map, so you can tell they are underground.

• All planet backdrops and terraform stages are much sharper when you zoom in.

• Removed markers for things you can never find in the game: a data log in Skeo's Amber Cave, drone logs and drones from Humble's ending scene, empty rover crates, and some fish and toxic water veins on Toxicity.

• Guides - How to Make Blazar Quartz, How to Make Pulsar Quartz and How to Make Super Alloy Rod, each with live maps for every planet the ingredients are on. Find them under Guides in the menu. Read the guides

• Crafting stations - the database now names the station the game actually uses. Super Alloy, rods, circuit boards and jetpacks are made at the Advanced Craft Station, and the quartz recipes at the Quartz craft station instead of a wrong station name.

2.0 Update + Skeo - Map Update Notes

New maps:

• Skeo, the new free moon released today, is now on the map: resource deposits, quartz crystals, containers, data logs, satellites and resource veins across all its regions, with terraforming stage backdrops (Dead to Complete)

Fixes:

• All 5 existing planet maps are updated for the 2.0 Update, including the new and reworked biome areas
• Aqualis: the 6 island groups that rise from the sea during the seismic terraforming stages are now on the map backdrops, matching the resource markers that previously floated on open water. Each terraforming stage shows the islands that exist at that stage.
• Aqualis: container markers now show as Clam and Golden Clam with shell icons, matching what you actually find in the world
• Languages fixed: German and Italian now show their own translations (German was missing entirely), and Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian and Turkish no longer show a neighboring language's text
• Marker icons no longer show a faint white box behind them (affected the common ore, ice and crate icons)
• Aqualis: removed four phantom rock islands that showed at all terraforming stages - they are real rocks, but 200m under the ocean; the capture camera saw them through the water while the in-game map never shows them
