Palia - Sacred Flower in an Elderwood chest & more
Fixed
  • Map - One Elderwood treasure chest also holds a Sacred Flower. It is now listed as a Sacred Flower spot, so the Sacred Flower guide, its Progress Tracker and the item page count all 7. Open the map
  • Map icons - After the graphics driver or the overlay reset in the background, all map icons could turn invisible (only the small above/below arrows stayed) until you restarted the app. The map now redraws its icons on its own after such a reset. In the Overwolf app from this update, and on the website.
  • Bugs - Bug tooltips and bug pages no longer say "Clear weather" or "Rain", since the game has no weather yet. Spineshell Crab, Vampire Crab, Inky Dragonfly and Raspberry Beetle just show the time of day they are active. Open the map

Palia - Despawn warning on the live map & more

Items no longer show confusing numbers like "Peki #1" or "Ancient House #2". Ore and forage that are about to disappear now flash on the live map, just like in the game.

New
  • Despawn warning - When the Companion App or the Overwolf app sees an ore node or a forageable that is about to despawn, its marker flashes slowly in the last 30 seconds and faster in the last 10, so you don't run to a node that is already gone. Needs Companion App 21.2.0 or Overwolf app 4.31.61. You can turn it off in Settings with Flash nodes that are about to despawn, next to Reset discovered nodes when they respawn. Open the map
Improved
  • Codex - Ranch products link to the animals that make them and back: Eggs from Pekis, Milk from Ormuus, mushrooms from Trufflets, spices from Palcats, salt from Rolis, and the rest of the ranch animals. Open the database
  • Guides - The Muujin Bahari shopping list, the Fish Stew spices and the Leather guide name the ranch animal next to the other sources where one produces the ingredient. Read the guides
Removed
  • Recycler - the Recycler and its recipes are gone from the database, the crafting calculator and the Leather guide, because the machine is not in the game. Junk you can only use there (Discarded Newspaper, Hide Scraps, Broken Pan, Muddy Container, Chipped Gemstone, Scrap Wood) is gone too. Leather guide

Removed
  • Unreleased crops - Melon, Cherry, Orange, Apricot, Peach, Pear, Boysenberries, Strawberries, Grapes, Green Beans, Hops, Squash and Lettuce (plus their seeds) are no longer in the database, and "Any Fruit" or "Any Vegetable" recipes no longer offer them as ingredients. You cannot grow any of them in Palia right now.
Fixed
  • Flow-infused trees in amber - These trees showed as a plain tree (neither flow-infused nor amber) in the Companion App. They now show under their flow-infused filter, the same way masked creatures in amber keep their masked filter. Open the Royal Highlands map
  • Database - Recipes that take any fish, any bug or any crop now list every option instead of a short note, and those fish, bugs and crops show the recipes they are used in.

Palia - Crafting Calculator & Star quality stays visible in amber & more

A flow-infused Ashwood or Royal Birch that is also encased in amber now shows as a flow-infused tree. You can now tell whether an amber-encased bug, plant or Sernuk is star quality or royal before you break the shell. Plan any number of recipes at once and get one shopping list with everything you need. The database no longer lists crops that are not in the game.

New
  • Crafting Calculator - Add every recipe you want to make (furniture, cooking, tints, arrows, facilities and more), set how many you need, and get one combined shopping list. It tells you how many times to craft each recipe (50 tints at 20 per craft = 3 crafts), which crafting station each step needs, including every step of complex cooking, and what you will have left over. Share your plan with a link. Open the Crafting Calculator
  • Buy or gather - Materials sold in a shop show the store and the price. Tick "Buy instead" and the calculator adds up the gold, medals and other currencies you need.
  • "Any" ingredients - Recipes that take any catfish, any fruit or any spice count it once, and you can pick which one you want to use.
Improved
  • Star quality and royal in amber - Amber Echo now has a separate filter for the star quality version of each target (for example "Flame Queen - Star Quality - Amber Echo") and for royal Sernuk, with both the amber and the star or crown badge on the icon. Before, a starred target in amber showed the same as a regular one. To see every amber version of a target, open its amber filter's settings and use "Enable all variants".
